After handing in their homework, students did a quick apostrophe quiz.
They then read their personal novels.
Students moved into temporary groups, and we talked about POV, character types, and a few other story terms - after thing broader discussion, students set about answering a series of questions in those groups.
There is no new homework - we will continue the group work next class.
Anyone who is finding it challenging to grasp the terms we are using should be looking over short story packages/reviewing as needed. Come to tutorial if you'd like to talk through a specific term in greater depth!
